On the 11th of December 2009, soprano Julia Doyle will join TR for a concert in the English College of St. Albans (Collegio de los Ingleses de San Albano) in Valladolid, Spain.
A concert to celebrate la Festividad de la Virgen Vulnerata with works by Vivaldi, Handel, Pergolesi and Durante.

TR in UTRECHT!!!

TERCIA REALIDAD presents the programme "Musick for Shakespeare Plays" in the Fabulous Fringe from the Utrecht Early Music Festival 2009.
The concert will be on the 31st of August at 15:30h in the Luthersekerk in Utrech, the Netherlands.

DUBROVNIK EARLY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2009

Tercia Realidad has just been invited to open the Dubrovnik Early Music Festival 2009 with its programme Tientos&Fantasias dedicated to Henry Purcell and Joan Cabanilles!!!
That should be around the 16th of September...we'll keep you updated!

GENERAL INFO

Inspired by the 16th Century Cervantian term “Tercia Naturaleza” which gives the name to a third reality where fantasy and the real world meet each other and fuse.
Tercia Realidad is a utopia created by Jorge Jimenez in which music goes back to its origins as a language to express emotions and feelings as well as a fusion of personalities, ideas and sounds.
Tercia Realidad was presented in 2007 in a glorious tour through several Romanic churches in Spain, where TR conmemorated Mozart's anniversary performing the Requiem in Lichtental's original string quartet version.
Since then, and with the aim of giving music (repertoire ranges from medieval to contemporary) its real and original flavour and a new kick to go out of the sometimes outdated way of presenting music that we are used to.
